Fisher River Grocery to Transition to Valu Lots under North West Company
This is official notice that for preparation of the North West Company (NWC) coming in to take over operations, Fisher River Grocery will be reducing our hours to 8AM to 6PM Monday to Friday and 11AM to 6PM Saturday and Sunday’s beginning tomorrow, October 23, 2024 and as of October 28, 2024 the grocery store will only be open for mail pick up, gas, lotto, and tobacco product purchases only.
On November 13, 2024, the grocery store will close and Fisher River Economic Development Corporation (FRED Corp.) will officially hand over operations to North West Company. They will keep the store closed from the 13th to the 15th, while they arrange the store and stock the shelves. The grocery store will then re-open, under Valu Lots, on November 15th with an official grand opening celebration being planned for early next year.
